Although the emergence of John Metchie is definitely an encouraging sign, the Crimson Tide must be thrilled to have Henry Ruggs back on the gridiron.The junior wideout missed Saturday’s scrimmage to attend his cousin’s funeral. These past few days must have been tough for Ruggs, but the Alabama playmaker is finally ready to compete.In his sophomore season, Ruggs finished with 46 receptions for 741 yards and 11 touchdowns.Ruggs isn’t the only dynamic wide receiver on the Crimson Tide. He’ll split targets with Jerry Jeudy, who will likely earn NFL buzz from scouts around the league.The offense for Alabama appears pretty healthy, which means the focus this spring now shifts toward the defense.Alabama reporter Matt Zenitz released the latest update for the Crimson Tide, which includes the return of Ruggs. It also highlights the depth chart for outside linebacker.From AL.com:Anfernee Jennings and Eyabi Anoma were the first group of outside linebackers during drills. Chris Allen and freshman Kevin Harris were the second group.
